Funerals & Farewells

Planning a funeral can be an additional source of stress during an emotional time for you and your loved ones.

My job is to alleviate some of that stress and write a meaningful script that really captures the spirit of your loved one as you say goodbye.

The funeral ceremonies I create feel like a true reflection of who your loved ones were, how they lived and how they made the people closest to them feel.

I’ll spend as much time as you need getting the details right to give your family and your loved one the service they deserve.

The Process

1) Initial call

We get in touch, either directly through my contact form or a Funeral Director.

I will call you as soon as possible to arrange a face-to-face meeting.

2) Face-to-face meeting

We’ll get together at a location of your choosing, to discuss arrangements for the service. Here, we will focus on the ceremony for your loved one and I’ll get a good idea of who they were as a person and the life they lived.

3) Writing process

I’ll take all the information and stories you told me, and turn them into a ceremony that celebrates the life of your loved one. I’ll send a draft to you, for your approval, then make any changes or add any other details you suggest.

4) The ceremony

On the day, I’ll meet you at the venue to take the ceremony. I’m also there to support you and help you through the service.

Afterwards, you’ll be offered a keepsake script of the ceremony (at no extra charge), to remember the celebration of the life of your loved one.

Price: (including all meetings, script drafts, keepsake script and delivery of the ceremony.)
